Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and disassembly of vehicle components
* Conduct equipment repairs and perform welding tasks as necessary
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols
* Assist customers with inquiries regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance services
* Perform heavy lifting when required to move parts or equipment safely
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics
* Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
* Experience in assembly, maintenance, and equipment repair is essential
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
* Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of job duties
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology are advantageous
