Job introduction Contract: Up to 37 hours per week (hours to be discussed at interview), term time only Salary: Band 3a NJC 11-18: £27,269- £30,060 FTE (actual salary £23,845 - £26,285 depending on experience) Start date: As soon as possible, or 1st September 2025 Application closing date: 12.00pm on Thursday 5th June 2025 Interview date: Week commencing Monday 9th June 2025 The role King's School is seeking to appoint a Medical & Administration Officer to be involved in all areas of medical and first aid provision for students and staff, ensuring a safe and healthy school environment. This role will entail working as part of our front office team, collaborating with school staff, parents and healthcare providers to ensure all aspects of school medical needs are managed effectively and in line with the school’s policies, procedures and relevant legislation. This can be a fast-paced role, and the post holder will need to be calm under pressure, resilient, adept at problem solving, organised and able to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will join an experienced front office team, led by our extremely knowledgeable Office Manager. We are a close-knit support team across all areas of the school and enjoy an excellent working relationship across administrative, facilities and teaching support departments. About the role Who are we? King’s School is a Church of England School in the Diocese of Chichester, for students in Years 7 to 13. Our recent staff survey found that staff feel supported and valued. Student motivation and behaviour is excellent. Organisation of the school is strong, with good communication.
