JOB TITLE- INTERNAL SALES MANAGER

Job Summary:
* We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the North East Lincolnshire region and the position is a permanent role focused on strengthening and stabilising the internal sales function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the internal sales team, providing day‑to‑day coaching, performance management and delivering a structured onboarding process.
Main Duties:
* Lead and support the Internal Sales team.
* Deliver the individual development plans already in place, ensuring consistent progress across the team.
* Develop and enhance reporting on key metrics such as sales conversion rates, quotation turnaround times, and related performance data, working closely with the IT team.
* Reduce quotation errors by improving accuracy, consistency, and quality of information provided to customers.
* Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes, including supporting the implementation of a new ticketing system for all sales enquiries and quote requests.
* Improve the overall customer experience through coaching on written and verbal communication, ensuring a professional and customer‑focused approach.
* Collaborate closely with the External Sales team to support growth and alignment across the sales function.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in an internal sales, inside sales, or sales office leadership role.
* Demonstrated success in managing and developing a small team within a fast‑paced commercial environment.
* Experience working with quotation tools, CRM systems, and sales reporting platforms.
* Background in manufacturing, engineering, or a similar technical B2B environment (desirable).
* Track record of improving sales processes, reducing errors, and enhancing customer experience.
* Experience collaborating with external sales teams to support growth and pipeline development
