Our client, a market-leading energy management consultancy, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team. As an Account Manager you will be the key point of contact for commercial clients - managing and nurturing existing relationships, while also identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional services. You’ll support clients with a range of services, including energy procurement, tenant re-billing, energy assessment and validation, carbon reduction, and green energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded Account Manager with proven B2B experience in the energy or utilities sector, excellent industry knowledge and a talent for building and nurturing long-term client relationships. Key responsibilities for the Account Manager:
* Own and manage relationships as the primary contact for a portfolio of existing B2B clients
* Onboard, build and nurture long-term partnerships with new accounts
* Identify and drive account growth by introducing additional services
* Oversee customer projects, from meter installation to the delivery of energy reports
* Build strong relationships across internal teams to understand and meet client needs
* Work with external partners to grow the business, sharing market insights and forecasts
Skills and Experience required for the Account Manager:
* B2B Account Management experience within the energy sector
* Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
* Confident in engaging with clients and providing tailored customer solutions
* Strong understanding of commercial principles
* Skilled at actively listening to client needs and crafting effective solutions
* Proactive mindset with the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
* Proficient in Excel with strong numerical skills
* Full UK driving license – occasional client visits
