Brightwork are delighted to be supporting our global manufacturing client in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team based in West Lothian. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, with a particular focus on Accounts Receivable, cash allocation, and maintaining accurate customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Raising and processing customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
2. Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
3. Supporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments
4. Investigating and resolving invoice queries and account discrepancies
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account records
6. Producing customer statements and assisting with aged debt reporting
