Job Title: Psychotherapist
Location: Medway Green School - Kent ME1 3TS
Salary: Up to £52,000 FTE DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Part-Time also considered)
Contract: Permanent - Term Time only (There may be scope for a full-time 52-week contract; please get in touch if this is your preference)
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team based at Medway Green School. In this role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessments and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to help pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. You will undertake psychotherapy clinical duties, adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carry out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and prepare relevant documentation, including reports. A significant element of this role involves working with the onsite clinical team to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents. Our multidisciplinary Clinical Team maintains a nurturing environment where pupils are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them where possible. Essential Criteria
* Evidence of recognised professional qualification as Psychotherapist, either Level 7 (e.g. Master’s degree) or above OR Level 6 relevant degree with relevant therapeutic diploma and experience with the relevant client group and service delivery methods.
* Registered member of HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, or UKCP
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
* Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
* Experience of multi-professional teams or services within the designated specialty
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
