We are seeking an Interim College Accountant to manage and oversee all financial and accounting activities within a respected educational institution. The successful candidate will utilise their proficiency in accounting and finance to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.

Description
Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and college budgets.
Coordinate all audit activity.
Consistently analyse financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Communicate effectively with other departments within the college to support overall college goals and objectives.
Monitor progress and changes, keeping senior leadership abreast of the college's financial status.
Assist the college leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process.
Support the leadership in engaging the board's audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery.
Profile
A successful Interim College Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting or Finance.
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience working as College Accountant, Bursar, Head of Finance or Finance Director.
Experience working in non-profit or Education/ College environment.
