Systems Administrator
Location: Bridgwater College Academy (with potential travel between schools in the Trust)
Contract: 37 hours per week, 43 weeks per year (term time plus 4 weeks)
Grade: Band 4, Points 5-6. Actual starting salary: £24,608.43 per annum.
Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust is seeking a Systems Admin Support colleague to join our central team.
As Systems Admin Support, you will provide vital administrative assistance to our IT and Premises teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
You will:
* Support with scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.
* Assist with trust systems, including information management systems and helpdesk tasks.
* Manage IT procurement, liaising with suppliers and keeping accurate records.
* Administer subscriptions, domains, and renewals.
* Maintain asset and inventory records, ensuring compliance with data protection.
* Provide general office support for IT and premises-related activities
This role is primarily based at Bridgwater College Academy, with opportunities for hybrid working on occasion. Although we are looking for someone to work 44 weeks per year, an all year round contract will also be considered.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Organised, with excellent attention to detail.
A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
