Accounts Administrator | Northwich | £ | Permanent, hybrid
A growing and fast-paced business is looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator to support its finance function. This is a varied role offering exposure across sales ledger, banking, reconciliations, and broader operational finance and administrative processes.
This position would suit someone with a solid grounding in transactional finance who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants to develop their skillset further.
Reporting into the Accounts Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Processing sales orders and raising sales invoices
* Posting invoices to the sales ledger and performing accuracy checks
* Uploading invoices to customer portals
* Handling customer queries and resolving discrepancies
* Managing intercompany transactions and returns
* Reviewing outstanding sales orders and ensuring all fulfilled orders are billed
* Preparing monthly invoices for third-party partners
* Processing daily bank transactions and performing weekly reconciliations
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Supporting payment runs and setting up payments
* Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
* Assisting with ad hoc administrative and HR-related tasks where required
They are looking for someone with:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience within a finance or accounts environment
* Strong Excel skills and confident using ERP systems
* Good understanding of core finance processes (purchase ledger, bank recs, etc.)
* Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
* A team player who is adaptable and willing to support wider business needs
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
* Confident communicator who can liaise with finance and non-finance stakeholders
