Metro Rod works with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered largely on a reactive basis. With over 60 franchisees across the UK, we have been clearing and unblocking drains for more than thirty years.
Reactive Drainage Engineer – Metrorod Norwich
What’s involved?
* Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains
* Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
* Carrying out surveys
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
* Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
* Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
* Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year
What do we look for?
* Experience in commercial & domestic drainage is essential
* Experience in drain cleaning, drain repairs, patch lining
* Drainage tickets including HPWJ, confined spaces and CSCS
* Have experience with CCTV surveys and lining
* Will have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
* Be willing to work occasional unsociable hours
* Hold a full UK driving licence – must be over 25 for insurance purposes
