Job Title: Social Worker - Learning Disabilities

Pay Rate: £32 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is confident in completing Community DoLS work and preparing associated court documentation. This role supports a project aimed at addressing a backlog of individuals requiring Community DoLS assessments, for it's client based in Southampton.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal frameworks and be able to manage complex cases efficiently and independently.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
* Conduct person-centred assessments of needs, risks, and strengths.
* Develop and review care and support plans tailored to individual goals and aspirations.
* Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns.
* Advocate for the rights and choices of individuals, ensuring their voices are central in decision-making.
* Support individuals to build life skills and increase independence.
* Facilitate access to education, employment, housing, and community resources.
* Work closely with families, carers, health professionals, and other agencies to coordinate care.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
