Provide safe and effective military diving training to all navy divers. Position Role: Assist the Diving Officer and Senior Military Diving Instructor with the delivery of DDS course programmes (Diving Project Plans) as required, IAW JSP 286 Pt 1 and 2. Responsibilities: Act as the In Water Instructor during student diving serials. Carry out the duties of surface support staff during diving training. Monitor the trainees and ensure safe practices are followed. Assist in the operation of Compression Chambers when directed by the SMDI. Act as safety number within TMCC as required. Remain current and competent in all diving equipment being taught. Drive boats and other vehicles as qualified in support of training delivery. Carry out DDS security and ceremonial duties as required. 9.
