Job Role Responsible for being part of a multi-disciplined works team within the housing repairs, responsible for delivering specialist plastering and rendering throughout the borough, ensuring health and safety compliance and best practice. To work in a professional and flexible manner and carry out work in accordance with latest regulations. Responsibilities To carry out all types of plastering and rendering work both internally and externally, including door set installations and associated door furniture and maintenance, installation of signage and window repairs. Undertake associated duties as agreed in the flexible working agreement to contribute to groups ‘one job one visit’ objective. Use all necessary plastering and rendering tools plant and equipment associated with the post and joinery duties undertaken. Take ownership for each repair updating the customer with reasons when it is not possible to complete a repair. Refer to the call centre / supervisor agree arrangements with customer to complete the repair. Interact with the other contractors to ensure that repairs are met by the appropriate team and that the customer is always aware who is carrying out the repair. Qualifications Relevant trade qualification NVQ2 or city in guilds, and / or membership of a professional body in your specific trade (desirable) Minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivering plastering and rendering work within a responsive repairs environment in a comparable organisation including delivering services in a customer-focused environment setting. Minimum of 3 years relevant trade experience to undertake the supervision and training of apprentices, trainees or other employees as assigned to effective standards and specifications.
