KURY UK Ltd is part ofan international company, Kury Groupe, 100% dedicated to the nuclear field with 23 years of experience in nuclear engineering.
Since then, we have been working with EDF (French Electricity Producer). We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.
We are now looking for engineers to join our Team in the UK. Our human-sized structure (100 employees worldwide) allows us to devote to mentoring and training our engineers. SUITABLE CANDIDATE
You enjoy analising concrete problems, finding solutions and then setting them up.
Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects involving very demanding precautions as regards industrial safety captivates you.
Your good analytical skills, sense of logic, aptitude for synthesizing and your scientific knowledge will allow you to adapt quickly to multi-system environments.

THE ROLE
As a Contract Engineering Lead, you will be in charge of the monitoring of our main equipment supplier Handovers on the scope of nuclear instrumentation and radioprotection equipment KRT (personnel radioactivity monitoring and protection).
Your main mission will be to ensure the following activities:
* The technical clarification and resolution of supplier and client technical queries.
* The technical management of the supplier and support to the client in their contractual relationship during design, procurement and delivery phase regarding the schedule, costs, specifications and requisitions.
* Follow up on all equipment manufacturing and delivery to site.
* Lead reviews of supplier technical documents and annual surveillance report.
* Management of risks, opportunities, open Points, UK Design Changes and Exemptions requests generated by our supplier.
* The management of contract transfer sheets that informs the clients about contract modification via dedicated tools.
* The management of interfaces with client disciplines involved in the radioprotection equipment contracts.
During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Knowledge or relevant experience in the nuclear industry.
* Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field.
* Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909).
* Experience in Technical document reviews.
* Experience in radioprotection field, instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing or installation.
* Experience in Technical coordination.
* Ability to learn, prioritise and manage numerous tasks.
* French-speaking would be an advantage.
