About the role
Plan the efficient execution of client orders including combining orders.
Roles & responsibilities
* Plan inbound/outbound transport taking into account transport regulation.
* Combine orders to achieve efficient transportation.
* Manage unforeseen incidents in the transportation planning process.
* Deal with sales team and customers to take sales orders via phone and email.
* Liaise with production sites (both Brenntag owned and third party) to check availability of products.
* Work with hauliers to ensure deliveries are on schedule and communicate delays or issues back to customers.
* Raise purchase orders to suppliers where applicable.
* Raise invoices to customers.
* Process supplier invoices.
* Ensure that the right product is delivered on time, every time.
* Participate in ad‑hoc projects set by Logistics Manager.
