About You
* Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI, AAT, or equivalent)
* Experience in a finance or accounts support role
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practice
* Excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
* Eager to continue learning and developing professionally
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
About Your New Role
Always
* Support a portfolio of clients with day-to-day financial reporting and compliance
* Prepare bookkeeping records, VAT returns, and assist in preparing management accounts
* Maintain accurate ledgers and client records in line with best practice
* Build trusted working relationships with clients and team members
* Deliver a high standard of client service and support
Often
* Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
* Assist with year-end file preparation for review by senior staff
* Support colleagues across client work, deadlines, and internal systems
* Take part in team discussions around workflow and process improvements
* Contribute to the smooth running of client engagements
Occasionally
* Assist with ad hoc assignments, such as grant applications or business support tasks
* Attend client meetings alongside senior team members
* Support wider business initiatives and special projects as required
