Business Development Manager – LegalTech
Our client is a market-leading global LegalTech organisation, trusted by more than 50,000 legal professionals and thousands of law firms worldwide. With over 30 years of innovation in the legal sector, they provide an award-winning cloud-based platform that combines practice management, legal accounting, document automation, and AI-driven productivity tools into a single solution. Their technology is designed specifically to help law firms streamline operations, improve profitability, and deliver a better client experience.
The business has a strong international footprint across the UK, Australia, North America, and Europe, and continues to experience significant growth as law firms increasingly invest in digital transformation and AI-enabled legal technology.
They are now looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across small to mid-sized law firms throughout the UK. This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to join a high-growth environment with exceptional training, ongoing development, and clear long-term career progression. You will be joining an established and highly respected LegalTech brand at the forefront of innovation within the legal industry.
This is a hybrid role, with three days per week based in the Nottingham office and two days working remotely from home.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the full sales cycle, managing opportunities from initial outreach through to close across a portfolio of UK law firms
* Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, outbound outreach, and relationship-building activities
* Deliver engaging product demonstrations and provide consultative technical insight to prospective clients, both virtually and face-to-face
* Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly revenue and performance targets
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership and wider commercial teams to refine and execute effective sales strategies
* Maintain a strong understanding of LegalTech market trends, competitor activity, and evolving law firm challenges to position solutions effectively
The Successful Candidate
* 3+ years B2B sales experience, with at least 6 months of this managing the full sales cycle/closing deals with clients
* New business experience is essential
* Experience selling SaaS or Legal Tech would be a plus – but candidates from a range of backgrounds are encouraged to apply e.g. wider technology (software / hardware / services), FMCG or product sales, consultancy sales
* Commutable to Nottingham 3 days per week
