Job Description
This well-established water treatment company provides a variety of professional services to a mixed portfolio of clients nationwide. Due to continued expansion, they are currently seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Exeter area. The ideal applicant will be experienced in carrying out routine water treatment duties such as chlorination and disinfections as well as cool tower and closed system analysis. Applications from Exmouth, Crediton, Tiverton, Newton Abbot and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience
* Experience working in this role within the water treatment industry.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Duties within the role
* Servicing of hot and cold water systems, routine cleaning and disinfecting work etc.
* Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination, steam boilers.
* Undertake analysis of Boilers, Closed Systems and Cooling Towers.
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
* Routine water inspections, sampling and temperature testing work.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.
* Building a strong relationship with clients/customers.
