Are you a health care assistant / support worker with a desire to work within a great team, alongside remarkable people who make a difference every day? If so, we invite you to join us and experience the impact you can have in your role.
We are seeking experienced individuals to join our Children's Long Term Ventilation team. This dynamic service operates primarily within family homes, but also across special school sites and community-based settings within the Oldham locality.
Note: Changes to UK immigration policy introduced on 9th April 2025 have increased the minimum salary threshold for sponsorship applications for the Health and Care Worker Visa from £23,200 to £25,000. For more information, please visit the Home Office website.
For those new to the NHS, the starting salary would be £24,937 (from 1st April 2025), which is below the new sponsorship threshold and thus not eligible for sponsorship. Please consult the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook for more details.
The role involves working with immediate team colleagues and external multidisciplinary partners to deliver care packages for children and young people aged 0-19 with complex needs or technology dependence. The hours include day, evening, and night shifts across a 7-day week, primarily within family homes and community settings.
You may work within the Children's Long-term Ventilation and Complex Needs team or across other areas of the Children's Community Nursing Service as needed, as determined by the service lead.
