Reporting to the Procurement & Commercial Manager, you will provide pre and post contract procurement and commercial support to some of the largest projects within SSE. * Manage costs and forecasts through regular cost reporting, adhere to change management procedures, handle payments and expenditure, and perform cost estimating.
* Provide robust post-contract commercial management to support project goals, including negotiating/agreeing on compensation events and implementing core principles of the Commercial Manual.
* Support the Procurement and Commercial Manager in delivering a world-class procurement and commercial service.
You will have
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and working towards professional membership of RICS or CICES.
* Knowledge of commercial governance for large capital projects and experience in delivering projects with commercial, contract, or cost management expertise.
* Experience in estimating, sourcing management, cost & budget management, and contract administration.
