Job Description
We are currently working with a well-established business based in Kidderminster who are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales ledger professional to join a busy finance team and make an immediate impact.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the sales ledger function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing daily sales invoicing accurately and efficiently
* Producing and reviewing daily sales reports
* Posting and allocating customer receipts
* Preparing and maintaining the daily invoice discounting report
* Managing credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments
* Producing and distributing monthly customer statements of account
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in a sales ledger / accounts receivable role
* Strong understanding of invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills when liaising with customers and internal teams
* Confident user of Excel and finance systems
