Food Technician
Term time only, Grade 3 – £24,796 – £25,185 (part time). Based on full-time hours of 27 hrs per week Monday to Friday, term time only – pro rata £15,380 – £15,621. Required June/July 2026.
We are seeking to hire a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Food Technician to work as part of the Sackville Design and Technology Department. The role supports teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons, helps students develop practical skills across a wide range of kitchen techniques, and contributes to a high-achieving curriculum within the Food Preparation department.
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering daily lessons.
* Support students in mastering kitchen skills and safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Collaborate with other department staff to enhance curriculum integration.
Hours: 27 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
Salary Range: Grade 3 £24,796 – £25,185 (pro rata £15,380 – £15,621) based on full-time hours.
