Responsibilities

The post holder will provide advanced ultrasound services at the East Devon Community Sites (Exmouth, Axminster, Tiverton) and may be required to work at these sites as part of a rota to maintain service cover. The post holder will also participate in weekend cover on a rotational basis, based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. Responsibilities include maintaining professional working relationships with staff across a variety of professional boundaries to ensure efficient links with other wards and departments across the Trust, providing expert ultrasound opinion as required, and contributing to teaching and training of staff including ultrasound trainees, Radiology Registrars, and other clinical staff. The post holder is expected to produce high‑quality ultrasound images and reports, maintain professional standards and participate in CPD, peer, and case review.


Working Pattern

Various hours over 7 days a week between 0800 and 2000.
