We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join our team in a large, busy facility based in Magor, Wales.
This is a full-time position for a few months, ideal for someone with a strong administrative background who also has hands-on experience working with contractors and upholding health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, document management, and handling emails and phone calls.
Liaise with contractors: booking in visits, managing schedules, and acting as the key point of contact on-site.
Issue and manage permits for contractors in line with company policies.
Ensure all contractor documentation and procedures comply with internal and external health and safety requirements.
Maintain records and logs for compliance and audit purposes.
Support the facilities management team with coordination and communication.Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role within a large or busy facility.
Proven experience dealing with contractors, including booking, communication, and permit issuing.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A valid Health and Safety Certificate (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
Ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Desirable:
Knowledge of facilities management systems.
Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
