Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.Want to be a part of it?What will you be doing?As our Quantity Surveyor you'll be working on ourWater Network Alliance contract in Wales. You'll be part of ourcommercial teamwho are responsiblefordelivery of all commercial task on the Welsh Water Framework.Be an integral member of the Commercial Team, led by the Managing Quantity SurveyorBuild a strong relationship with client counterpartsEnsure all M Group Water and Client processes are followed to minimise WIP (outstanding cash) and keep WIP within the contract and business targetEnsure cash is received on time at forecast levelProduction of Monthly CVRsManage and price change within the terms of the contractProvide support for pricing contracts working closely with the clientAssist the procurement and management of sub-contractors and other suppliersTo develop and implement changes to process, following understanding of a need to make changes to improve performanceProduce and present productivity measures linked to the operations resource to ensure tender complianceWhat you'll bring Do you have excellent negotiation skills?Do you have knowledge, understanding and previous experience of NEC contracts?An awareness of all relevant statutory, regulatory and company policies and guidelinesAre youable to react to constant changing workloads?Knowledge of service delivery within the utilities sector is desiredGood organisational skills and effective communication skillsDo you have experience in cost role desired with knowledge of sub-contracts?Whats in it for you?
