About the Business

Main Duties:
As the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
* Become a key commercial leader in the team
* Leading the day-to-day operations of the finance department
* Producing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Overseeing year-end accounts preparation and managing external audit processes.
* Enhancing financial controls, compliance, and internal processes.
* Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive cost control and margin improvement.
* Developing KPIs, dashboards, and financial reporting tools.
* Mentoring and managing a small finance team.
* Supporting ERP/system enhancements in line with business growth.
* Contributing strategic insights to the Finance Director and board for planning and investment.
Location / Office / Culture
This role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, based in Coventry. The business operates in a forward-thinking, dynamic environment and offers the opportunity to learn from exceptional leadership.
What We Are Looking For
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
* Strong experience across commercial and core finance
* A proactive and commercial mindset with strong leadership and communication skills.

Salary: £60,000 – £67,000 Bonus Benefits
