What you’ll do
As a Senior Care Assistant, each day brings purpose, leadership, and the opportunity to make life-changing differences.
You will:
* Lead and support care staff to ensure consistently high-quality care delivery
* Act as a role model, offering guidance, coaching, and on-shift supervision
* Support residents to remain independent within their Extra Care apartments
* Provide companionship, reassurance, and build meaningful relationships
* Assist with medication management, mobility, and mealtime support
* Deliver personal care with dignity, respect, and sensitivity
* Respond promptly to care calls and emergency alarms within the scheme
* Support the coordination of care plans and daily task allocation
* Encourage resident engagement in social activities and community life
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and the on-site management team
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in care
* Confidence in supporting and guiding other team members
* Strong communication skills and a calm, reassuring approach
* Reliability, compassion, and a commitment to excellent care
* A willingness to complete further training and develop professionally
