The role
As a Strategic Workforce Planning Programme Lead, you’ll have a unique opportunity to influence workforce strategies. You’ll lead programme delivery, working closely with SWP subject matter experts and People Analytics teams to embed a data-driven approach to workforce planning. Your efforts will support the organization in anticipating future workforce needs, closing skills gaps, and building long-term capability.
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of SWP across business units, ensuring effective implementation and measurable outcomes.
* Design and implement a scalable rollout plan aligned with organizational and sector-wide workforce strategies.
* Collaborate with SWP experts to embed best practices into operational planning.
* Partner with People Analytics teams to incorporate workforce data into strategic planning.
* Engage senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, adoption, and success of SWP initiatives.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience
* Proven programme or project management experience, ideally within HR, workforce planning, or organizational development.
* Understanding of strategic workforce planning principles and methodologies.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Experience working with data and analytics teams for decision-making support.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
* Degree in HR or Business.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
