PHP Web Developer - Join a Fast-Moving, Solutions-Led Team
Location: Riddings, DE55 4BR
Salary: £40,000-£45,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time considered)
Are you a PHP Web Developer who loves solving real business challenges with smart tech? Join Silver X, a fast-paced team delivering tailored software solutions for supply chain and logistics. Your work will directly shape projects and impact clients.
What You’ll Do:
* Build and maintain scalable PHP back-end modules, APIs, and services.
* Develop responsive front-end interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
* Design, optimise and manage MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
* Integrate external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and EDI.
* Support, debug, and improve live systems.
* Create clear technical documentation.
* Collaborate closely with project leads and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven PHP web development experience.
* Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SQL databases.
* Experience with Git and version control.
* Ability to manage projects independently.
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Warehouse/Transport Management Systems experience.
* Linux server and shell scripting skills.
* Deep API integration knowledge.
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
* Confidence engaging with clients and translating tech to business benefits.
