Maintenance Technician Our client, a prestigious, international manufacturing company, based in Norwich are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday (39 hours per week) Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience required * NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical maintenance discipline. * Relevant hands on experience in engineering maintenance (a minimum of 3 years). * Boiler repairs and maintenance * PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and basic electrical skills. * The ability to multi-task and problem solve, using reliability data to identify improvement needs. * Have the ability to communicate clearly and work well as part of a team. Key Duties: * Mechanical maintenance on a variety of process plants including; pumps, vessels, separation equipment, heat exchangers, hydraulic /pneumatic and piping systems. * Reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings and circuit diagrams. * Basic electrical work on such items as electric motors and starter circuits. * Complete mechanical assembly and pipe preparation tasks. * Valve repair/ refurbishment including pressure testing. * Undertaking accurate CMMS report writing and record keeping, ensuring an auditable closed loop system. * Operation and maintenance of the CHP plant, which includes gas compression, steam generation, electricity ...
