A leading regional law firm with deep roots in its local community is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established and highly regarded commercial property department at Associate or Senior Associate level.
This firm, known for its supportive, team-led culture and long-standing presence in the market (with over 200 years of heritage), offers an excellent platform for Solicitors looking to take the next step in their career. The Role:
You'll take ownership of a varied caseload of commercial property matters, working independently while being supported by a highly experienced and approachable team. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and will be encouraged to shape your career with the firm through clear progression plans and the potential to focus on niche areas within the discipline.
The caseload will include:
* Commercial leases and freehold acquisitions
* Development and agricultural land
* Acting for individuals, businesses and pension schemes (SIPPs/SASSs)
* Working with commercial lenders
* Complex transactions involving Option Agreements, Promotion Agreements and Overage provisions
About You:
* A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years’ experience in commercial property
* Proven experience managing complex files independently
* Strong commercial acumen and technical knowledge
* Confident in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
* Excellent client care, drafting and negotiation skills
* A proactive team player with a collaborative and business-minded approach
Salary & Benefits:
* £60,000+ depending on experience
* 26 days holiday (rising to 28 with service), plus office closure over Christmas

Working Pattern: The team is primarily office-based, especially during the 6-month probation period. However, hybrid working arrangements are available and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
