Overview
To oversee and supervise a team of Claims Professionals. You will have an excellent understanding of the claims process, and act as a referral point for your team, providing support and guidance. As Team Leader, you will be expected to manage daily people management tasks, manage client expectations, ensure the continued development of staff and act as a role model to others. How you'll make an impact Supervision of team members to ensure Service Level Agreements are complied with. Approve claims settlements within financial authority. Ensure team has knowledge of Service Instructions and Policy Wordings. Liaise with clients to ensure their requirements are met, attending review meetings where appropriate Provide training and facilitate development of team in accordance with Gallagher Bassett Learning & Development Prospectus. Timely completion of appraisal process. Respond promptly to complaints. Ensure diary procedures are followed to maintain accurate reserves and a 1:1 closing ratio. Manage own solicitors in litigated cases to ensure litigation standards are met. Assist Branch Manager in general office administration to ensure smooth running of office. Actively participate in the Gallagher Bassett training programme Comply with all Gallagher Bassett and office procedures Any other duties as required by Gallagher Bassett About you Previous Team Leader experience within a regulated environment Supports and encourages client service Demonstrates strong technical expertise and knowledge within the manager's scope of responsibility Has a clear understanding of Gallagher Bassett's Best Practices and drives to achieve them each and every day Exhibits strong listening as well as written and verbal communication skills Creates a positive work environment, treats others with respect, takes responsibility for developing others and inspires people to perform at their highest level Possesses a thorough knowledge and understanding of Gallagher Bassett's business objectives and how to implement them.
