06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00, 4 on 4 off

The Role

As Shift Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your shift, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to plan. You will provide general oversight across the factory floor, making real-time decisions to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

Full shift oversight within a

liquid processing environment

Managing production using

process control and SCADA systems

Making decisions on the

timing and coordination of key activities

Leading and managing a workforce of

32-50 colleagues per shift

Labour planning and control to meet production and cost targets

Driving staff performance through clear

KPIs and expectations

Conducting regular

tiered meetings

, reviewing performance, output, and issues

Ensuring food safety, quality, and operational standards are maintained at all times

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within the

food manufacturing industry

(essential)

Experience in a

leadership or supervisory role

Strong

people management

skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams

Confident decision-making in a fast-paced production environment

Comfortable working with production data, KPIs, and performance reviews

Experience with liquid processing or SCADA systems is highly desirable
