Refuse and Recycling Loaders
Pay: £14.13 per hour paye

Location: primarily work in Kettering Depot, however you will cover sickness/annual leave in Wellingborough Depot as well.
Shifts: 6.30am and finish anytime up to 4.30pm

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for refuse and recycling loaders to temporarily join their busy team within waste department.
Main duties are to undertake refuse/recycling collection from all properties listed on route including wheeled bins, bulk containers, sacks and bulky items. Manual handling, street cleaning, clearing of fly tipping, manoeuvring wheeled bins up to 1280lts between storage points and vehicles, use the lifting mechanism on the vehicle. You must maintain a good service to the public at all times and this would include keeping noise to minimum, avoiding damage to property and injury to persons, closing gates when leaving, avoiding or picking up any pillage on premises or in the road.
The right candidate would be physically fit as the role is demanding, must have full driving licence ( or be able to get to both depots if needed) and be able to work in adverse weather all year round.
