This role offers an exciting opportunity to work for a global household business with many beloved brands. We seek an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join the team.
The role reports to the Head of Category Management and involves managing key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities. Candidates with a broad range of indirect category management experience will be considered.
Role and responsibilities:
* Develop strategies and ensure delivery with year-on-year savings
* Create group-wide category plans to align with company goals, leveraging supplier relationships
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Directors and Board members
* Build relationships with key stakeholders for comprehensive supplier performance knowledge
* Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools
* Exemplify company values and promote procurement excellence
* Oversee strategic projects and ensure optimal service and cost efficiency
Experience and requirements:
* Experience in indirect procurement within large, complex organizations
* Preferred categories include Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics, and Operations
* Procurement experience in the private sector, ideally globally
* Experience managing complex international projects with Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels
* Strategic approach to procurement and supplier management
* Excellent communication skills across cultures and regions
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
* MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential
