Job Description

3. Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and feedback on their performance.
5. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business needs and address key audit issues.
6. Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports to ensure accuracy and clarity.
7. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend practical solutions to clients.
8. Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services to clients.
9. Keep up to date with changes in accounting and audit regulations and apply them as required.
10. Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:

11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
12. Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements.
13. Proven experience in leading audit engagements within the professional services industry.
14. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
15. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
