Area Sales Manager
Promote external construction and roofing products across Herts, Beds, Bucks, Middlesex and North London, working with national and independent merchants such as Travis Perkins, MKM Jewsons.
Responsibilities
* Grow account base by generating demand with contractors and expanding sales across the region.
* Manage an area turnover of approximately £3M, developing existing accounts and identifying new ones for long‑term management.
* Work closely with merchant sales teams, conduct joint visits to increase demand and revenue via the merchant channel.
* Back‑sell through the merchant network, requiring a strong understanding of this route to market.
* Build relationships at all levels, from trade counter to Regional Director within merchants.
Candidate Profile
* Strong B2B construction industry sales track record.
* Experience selling to contractors and merchants preferred.
* Dynamic, generator‑mentality person.
Compensation & Benefits
* Up to £50,000 plus uncapped OTE £25,000 in year 1.
* Fully expensed company car / Hybrid.
