Welder required! About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Welder to join the team in a production and finishing role. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and ensuring products are completed to a high standard before dispatch.
This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out MIG/TIG welding on a range of materials
* Read and interpret basic technical drawings where required
* Inspect welded products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
* Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools and power tools
* Work to production schedules and meet daily targets
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
* Complete quality checks and production documentation
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
* Previous welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
* Experience in manufacturing or fabrication is advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good hand–eye coordination and confidence using tools and welding equipment
* Ability to follow instructions xsngvjr and work to deadlines
* Reliable, punctual and a team player
* Own transport required due to location and working hours
Pay Rate
£13.71 – £14.50 per hour
