We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Cook/Chef to join our Extra Care Scheme in Llys Jasmine, Mold. The role is ideal for someone who wants to enhance the lives of residents and communities across Wales by delivering outstanding food and service.
Responsibilities
* Daily Operations: Support Extra Care schemes, ensuring everything runs smoothly in the preparation and serving of meals.
* Ordering: Assist with ordering in the Lead Cook/Chef’s absence to ensure the right level of stock to deliver the service.
* Cooking from scratch: Work with fresh ingredients to deliver a limited menu of pre-ordered meals.
* Positive influence: Create a positive and motivated work environment, leading by example.
* Compliance: Maintain high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
* Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with catering teams, residents, and scheme managers.
* Resident Feedback: Monitor and address resident feedback to continuously improve services.
Do You Have
* Experience: A proven track record as a Cook/Chef working with fresh food.
* Skills: Excellent cooking skills, including baking and dessert making.
* Communication: Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to liaise effectively with catering teams, scheme managers, and residents.
* Passion: A genuine passion for food quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
