Job Description
3. Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
4. Conduct credit checks on new clients and set up appropriate credit limits.
5. Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and queries.
6. Prepare and send out invoices, account statements, and payment reminders.
7. Work closely with the finance team to report on outstanding debts and cash flow.
8. Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and payment history.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
10. Assist in reconciling accounts and supporting audits as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly within credit control.
12. Strong knowledge of financial systems and accounting software.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
15. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
