Are you a motivated, compassionate nurse with expertise in palliative care? An exciting part-time (22.5 hours) Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist role is available in Pembrokeshire within a dedicated team committed to high-quality palliative and end-of-life care.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a passion for improving patient and family care through education, service improvement, research, and audit.
You will join a team of specialists, including Clinical Nurse Specialists, Consultants, Therapists, and the wider MDT, providing expert patient care.
Training and monthly clinical supervision are available to support your development.
Main duties of the job
This role requires MSc level study or equivalent experience in the specialist area. The post involves providing expert nursing care, advice, leadership, and managing a specialist nursing service.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based care, work autonomously, lead a team, and collaborate with colleagues to develop services and improve care quality.
Demonstrating the health board’s values is essential. Welsh language skills are desirable but not mandatory.
