About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join The Open University as a Lecturer in Energy and Sustainable Technologies. You will work with a dedicated team of academics to develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate distance-learning courses related to energy, environmental engineering, and sustainable technologies. Experience supporting adult learners in online environments is desirable.
The post-holder will be active in research in areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, and conservation. Support for external research funding and contributions to high-quality publications and REF submissions are expected.

Skills and Experience
Applicants should demonstrate the following:
* A PhD in a relevant field such as Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.
* A Masters or Honours degree in similar areas.
* Passion for teaching in distance or face-to-face settings.
* Ability to develop distance-learning materials across all levels.
* Proven research ability in renewable energy or energy conservation.
* A strong research record and/or knowledge exchange experience.
