Overview
Production Manager role at Eaton — on-site in Luton, UK. Right to work in the UK required (no sponsorship).
What You’ll Do
* Plan and schedule production to meet demand and timelines.
* Manage resources (equipment, facilities, stock) and liaise with procurement for component availability.
* Control costs and budgets, ensuring production remains cost-effective.
* Monitor production processes, enforce quality standards, and adjust schedules as needed.
* Ensure health and safety compliance and address issues immediately.
* Lead and develop the team, set performance goals, and manage engagement and training needs.
* Drive continuous improvement through lean practices, 5S, and process optimization.
* Track and report KPIs (safety, quality, inventory, productivity, cost) and ensure customer orders meet time, budget, and quality targets.
Qualifications
* 5+ years’ production/manufacturing leadership in high-volume environments.
Skills
* Proven delivery against safety, quality, inventory, and productivity KPIs.
* Experience in electronics/PCBA (SMT, test) is a plus; lean/5S required.
* Proficient with ERP/MES and data/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI/Excel).
