We are working with a respected, fast-growing business in the engineering sector, based in Petersfield, Hampshire in the recruitment for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake a 6 month contract.
What will the Interim Financial Controller role involve?
Provision of financial leadership to support the organisation’s strategic financial direction, including developing budgets, forecasts, and scenario planning.
Overseeing the day-to-day management of finance operations, including management accounts, compliance, reporting, and controls.
Ensuring robust financial systems and procedures are maintained, identifying efficiencies and improvements.
Supporting external audits and maintaining statutory compliance with VAT, corporation tax, and other regulatory requirements.
Preparation, processing and reporting of payroll for 100 employees.
Suitable Candidate for the Interim Financial Controller vacancy:
A qualified accountant with proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
Demonstrable experience managing teams and external audit.
Hands on experience of processing monthly payroll.
