A fast growing multidisciplinary consultancy based in London and Kent seeks a Chartered Architect to transition into a Building Regulations Principal Designer.
In this role you will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act and associated regulations, leading the building safety compliance throughout the design phase.
Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate building safety compliance throughout the design phase.
* Act as the Building Regulations Principal Designer, liaising with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure all statutory obligations are met.
* Review design information, identify risks and ensure projects adhere to current legislation, including the Building Safety Act and relevant Approved Documents.
Qualifications
* Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
* Professional membership or working towards (RIBA or CIAT).
