Overview
Our Client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing blow molding production equipment and supporting plant facility operations. The position is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, production efficiency, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of production machines and facility equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
* Respond to emergency repair needs during operations and complete scheduled maintenance during downtime.
* Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders to perform required tasks.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
* Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual conditions.
* Assist with training production employees in proper machine operation and routine maintenance.
* Monitor product quality, make necessary process adjustments, and ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
* Support plant performance goals, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Limited travel may be required.
Qualifications
* Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field .
* 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience strongly .
* Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills required.
* Proficient with computers, including basic typing and maintenance software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with colleagues, managers, vendors, and customers.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Reliable attendance and commitment to working scheduled shifts.
* Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
