Graduate engineer - project delivery (guildford/london)

Working within the Delivery team you will be an integral part of the delivery of many projects, assisting the Project Engineer and Project Manager and gaining knowledge and understanding in the management of projects. Throughout the programme you will work on all stages of the project, including design, by providing assistance in the following responsibilities:


Responsibilities

* Assisting the project team to help drive projects forward
* Setting out and managing site operations to ensure safety, quality, cost‑effectiveness, timely production and customer satisfaction
* Writing method statements and risk assessments, and procuring sub‑contractors, labour, plant and material resources
* Ensuring actions are carried out at the right time, by the right people and to a controlled budget
* Developing key relationships with clients, design teams, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
* Undertaking a placement in our engineering team where you learn how concept solutions are developed into engineering drawings, models and deliverables that can be built effectively


Qualifications

* Drive the implementation of sustainable, safe, cost‑effective solutions on critical water infrastructure projects
* Have achieved or be on track to achieve a degree in an engineering discipline, project or construction management
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some sites are difficult to access via public transport); a full UK driving licence is preferred
* Accept that you may need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude; the right attitude is key to your career
* A team player who can solve problems


Recruitment Process
