We are seeking a dedicated Housing and Support Manager to lead and manage our housing services. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housing, including tenant support, rental income management, and property maintenance in Hereford and Ross-on-Wye for homes for 15 young people (aged 16-25)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide regular support to tenants through proactive and regular contact.
2. Manage rental income, including rent collection and arrears management.
3. Liaise with the facilities team to ensure timely resolution of repairs and voids.
4. Handle neighbour nuisance issues and ensure a safe and harmonious living environment for all tenants.
5. Provide additional care, support, or supervision to young people as needed to help them maintain their tenancies and live safely.
6. Liaising with all relevant agencies, both statutory and voluntary, on the tenant’s behalf to increase their ability to maintain/develop independence in relation to their housing, along with liaising with other organisations involved in support of the young person.
Qualifications and Skills:
7. Previous experience in housing management and tenant support.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to effectively manage rental income and resolve financial issues.
10. Experience working with young people preferred.
11. Relevant qualifications in housing management or social care are desirable.
Due to the locations of properties we need someone who has their owne car.

Pay: £26,550 per year (Band D)

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.
^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You'll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
