We’re looking for a Senior Partnerships Director to spearhead our business development in the pre-enrolment space. This role requires someone who thrives in a startup environment, and can work independently to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, engage, and close new university clients for Uni-Life’s pre-enrolment solutions.
* End-to-End Sales Leadership: Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and outbound acquisition to negotiation and closing, while building a strong, repeatable pipeline.
* Consultative Selling: Position yourself as a trusted advisor to university stakeholders, providing tailored solutions that align with their student recruitment goals and challenges.
* Market Expansion: Proactively identify new markets and opportunities to expand Uni-Life’s international reach, contributing to the company’s growth.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Thought Leadership: Represent Uni-Life as a thought leader at international conferences, events, and meetings, showcasing our innovative approach to student engagement and recruitment.
* Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the Leadership team and the product team to refine solutions based on client feedback and evolving market needs.
* KPI Ownership: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, pipeline metrics, and client acquisition goals.
What We’re Looking For
* 7+ years sales experience within the international higher education sector.
* Demonstrated success in student recruitment/marketing, with experience closing deals involving universities or similar buyer personas.
* Familiarity with consultative selling approaches.
* Experience in product sales is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
* Highly self-motivated and able to work independently while achieving targets.
* Solid understanding of the higher education and international student recruitment landscape.
* Awareness of challenges and opportunities in the student enrollment journey.
* Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and tools for outbound outreach (e.g. Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is highly desirable.
* Flexibility to travel internationally 5–10 times per year for conferences.
