Description
Several opportunities have arisen for Fabricator Welders / Fabricators & Welders, to join an industry leader in UK's Building Services sector, delivering a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.
We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.
We are seeking self-motivated and experienced MiG or TiG fabricators and welders to manufacture varied pipe arrangements from Engineering drawings in our Scarva facilities (this is not site work).
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to cross-train in disciplines they may not yet be experienced in.
We offer two dayshifts to choose from:
* Mon-Thurs 7.00am - 5.00pm and Fri 7.00am - 4.30pm (44hrs basic)
* Mon-Thurs 7.00am - 4.30pm and Fri 7:00am - 1.30pm (40hrs basic)
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
* To operate MIG and/or TIG welding equipment
* To read/interpret drawings.
* Fabricate pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipe ranging from 65mm - 500mm) from shop drawings.
* Maintain a safe working environment
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Criteria:
* Previous experience as a Fabricator or Welder.
* The ability to interpret Engineering drawings and welding procedure requirements.
* Able to use hand tools such as Grinders, Hand Plasmas etc.
Desired Criteria:
* Previous experience as a pipe fab/welder, producing a wide range of pipe arrangements with either TIG or MiG.
* Previous experience within a heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork or stainless steel / carbon welding environment.
